It's easy to understand that corrosion resistance is how long it lasts and it's not easy to fade. In fact, the question of fading is related to many factors, and it is difficult to answer this question directly. First of all, we are facing the environmental problems. Whether it is the wet environment near the lake or the seaside, especially the projects on the seaside, with high humidity and salinity, this problem is more troublesome. There is also to be divided into ordinary indoor or shower room bathroom use, but also divided into the South and north, in general, humidity and temperature have a great relationship, but the general use of conventional places are relatively stable. In the industry, salt spray test is basically used as the detection standard, which is to let the product stay in the high temperature and humidity environment for a long time to see how long the product can withstand the discoloration. Generally speaking, 96 hours of neutral salt spray test is the standard of high quality products. Yajie products are all based on 96 hours of salt spray as the inspection standard, but some manufacturers only take 48 hours as the standard, especially Yajie factory has its own electroplating workshop, all electroplating processes have their own core technology, so it is natural not to say much about the durability of product electroplating.
However, in any case, the process characteristics of different surface treatments are different, so the corrosion resistance of different colors is also different, which is determined by the process characteristics. At the same time, besides the above chemical properties, the thickness of the coating also affects the anticorrosive performance. In fact, each product plating must undergo three layers, each layer has thickness will affect the anti-corrosion effect:
Layer 1: Copper layer (copper is highly active and cannot be plated without other colors of the copper layer, so it must be plated unless the material itself is copper, which is one of the reasons why copper products are good and expensive)
Second layer: nickel layer (all-optical nickel, semi-optical nickel: mainly used for anti-corrosion)
Three layers: Surface layer (i.e. plating whatever color you want)
